About

A compelling photograph of a shelter animal can dramatically increase his or her chance of finding a new home. To help my local shelter, I set up individual photo sessions with the available dogs. My special focus is on “pitbull”-type dogs, who are typically last to be chosen for adoption. As soon as these pictures are posted online, potential adopters can finally see the dogs’ unique personalities shine through.

My other passions include online marketing for non-profit organizations, knitting, and small animal rescue. I am currently a proud guardian of five rescued guinea pigs.

About “Shelter Dogs”

Shelter Dogs features a handful of dogs that have passed through an urban shelter system. The pictures were taken over a period of two years. All dogs shown in this collection ultimately got adopted by loving families, but millions of abandoned pets in America’s shelters are not so lucky.

Please support your local shelter or animal rescue group. Adopt. Volunteer. Donate.
